ChildHope

Childhope Philippines is a non-government association that believes that street children are created in the image of the Supreme Being with inherent worth and dignity. 

This volunteer group works to  promote the welfare of children’s rights and address the plight of children living in the streets.

FAACNJ Funded:

  • Daily meals of 600 children who would otherwise be hungry and begging for food in the streets of Manila.

  • Stipend for 28 volunteer teachers for prep classes to eventually integrate these children into public schools.

HomeFront

HomeFront seeks to end homelessness in Central New Jersey by harnessing the care and resources of the community. They help lessen the pain of homelessness and help families become self-sufficient through opportunities to ensure adequate incomes and affordable housing.

FAACNJ Funded:

  • 68 long-term unemployed clients were successfully placed in jobs or received their high school diplomas.

  • Distributed free bags of groceries for hungry families.
